This was completely experimental. My sister let me borrow her soft serve ice cream maker for a while so I’m going to utilize it to create some new recipes for this summer. Making your own ice cream can control what you put in it to make it healthier or not so healthy.
This came about from just putting what I had available in a bowl and crossing my fingers. To my amazement, it actually turned out with a nice texture. This ice cream recipe is a No Egg recipe using sweetened condensed milk instead for a thickener. It is relatively a simple recipe to pull off. 2 Cans Sweetened Condensed milk
1/4 C Heavy Cream
1/2 C Lemon/Lime Soda
1 C Cherry Syrup
Combine all ingredients in a large metal bowl and mix well.Place the bowl in the freezer for 20 minutes before placing into an ice cream maker.
Follow the ice cream maker instructions accordingly. Remove your ice cream mix from the freezer and add it to your ice cream maker. Should take a little longer then factory instructions normal 15-20 minutes.
Once the ice cream is soft serve, scoop out and place into freezer safe container and place in freezer to harden.
